Coach Mastermind

Join other Masters Coaches in a regular share-and-learn

It’s somewhat lonely being a rowing coach. Coaches work alone (except for your athletes) and frequently you crave some fellow coaching company and the opportunity to talk and get feedback.

This coaching mastermind is for you if you are a coach working with masters athletes.

Designed to give ideas, community, support and share best practices, this is a monthly group call during with Rebecca leading discussions on key topics as well as responding to input from you and other mastermind group members.

We won’t have a set “topic list” because we anticipate that you will join the group with your own ideas – but you can expect us to talk through

  • Programs
  • Lineups
  • Technique fault correction
  • Drills and exercises
  • Club administration
  • Recruitment
  • Fund raising
  • Equipment
  • Rigging
  • and much more.

There’s a trial subscription price of $10 for your first meeting and thereafter the monthly fee is $25.

When you buy this mastermind, you will get a calendar invite to a video meeting on the SECOND Tuesday of the month. All meetings are recorded so you can watch later.

The Benefits of joining our mastermind

We can’t predict what will come out of our discussion when coaches gather…. but it’s always true that we each take away some little nugget to try out.

As Michael said

“Coaches get little nuggets from other coaches.”

Michael got a tip about how to change the crew warm up from Bruce – and he tried it the very next day. His feedback was that the crew were warmed up faster than he’d previously found. So there is now more time in the practice to do other things.

Bonus

Within the mastermind are some coaching bonus lessons which yWhere to find coach resources in Moduleou will value.

  1. Drills videos – Nine separate drills to teach the rowing and sculling stroke, carefully explained and annotated. They are not available anywhere else in public. You may share these with your athletes.
  2. Skills checklists – what should a beginner/intermediate/advanced rower be able to do?  A detailed list of understandings (boat handling, rules on your waterway, rowing terminology, rowing technique, rigging, steering) which three levels of athlete can master before they advance to the next level. Use these to set up your classes and to help you decide what to teach NEXT.

Timezones

We will try to enable attendance from as many timezones as possible…. BUT when the clocks change, the times will also realign. We will base our timings on USA Eastern time to begin with, and as the group develops, we can adjust.

  • EDT 3pm (New York)
  • PDT 12pm midday (San Francisco)
  • BST 8 pm (London)
  • CEST 9 pm (Paris)
  • SAST 9 pm (Johannesburg)
  • AEST 5 am (Sydney) + one day
  • NZST 7 am (Auckland) + one day

These times do vary slightly through the year as different countries move in and out of daylight saving. Check your timezone against USA Eastern time using World Time Buddy – it’s free.

NOTE:  All prices are in US$ Dollars.  All prices exclude sales tax, except for purchasers in New Zealand where 15% GST is included in the sale price.
