with the next edition!

ATTENTION, ROW, DAVE FROST

Most sports science is built
around younger athletes.

The research, the coaching frameworks, the training programmes - they assume a body that recovers fast, adapts quickly, and has decades of competition ahead.

If you are over 40 and still competing, you know how little of that applies to you.

The Older Athlete and Aging conference exists to fix that. Now in its sixth year, it brings together researchers, coaches, and practitioners who specialise in masters athletes, people who understand the physiology, psychology, and practicalities of performing as you age.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Three hours of expert presentations, each one runs to 40 minutes plus questions, covering the latest research and best practice in masters sport.

Past topics have included injury prevention, strength training for older athletes, mental performance, and the science of recovery.

Speakers are selected by audience vote so the topics reflect what you, the masters athletes and coaches actually want to know.

This is a live online event. You can attend from anywhere in the world. And it’s recorded so you can watch later. It stays in your learning portal for you.

WHO ATTENDS

Masters rowers and coaches working with club athletes although the content applies broadly to any competitive athlete over 40.
