We did the VIP Day webinar with Troy Howell this morning. As I write this I’m feeling conflicted.
Why? Because after hearing Troy’s insights and why they are key to advancing from being an intermediate level rower, you will feel like Louise does. But I clearly struggled to explain this to you, Reader because you didn’t buy the webinar.
It is hard to explain in an email that this really is the outcome you will get. Having listened to the full webinar this morning, all the attendees now know it’s correct.
I feel so strongly about the advantages to be gained from the amazing learning and coaching method that Troy teaches (and the hilarious anecdotes) I want more people to know about it. That’s why we put on the VIP Day webinar.
Stick with us, you will find Faster Masters products valuable.

If you’ve ever thought of visiting another club while on holiday….
I am grateful to Rowing Club Regensburg (Regensburger RV) for being such a hospitable host during my stay in the town this February. It was great to join them on the water, ergo, and weight sessions. Quite an unusual routine in this club is dipping into the cold Danube after the session, irrespective of the time of the day. I survived that ….. Regensburg is an extremely pleasant historical city with surprisingly many good restaurants and cafes. Thanks to coach Tibor, to Gerd, Louis, and others for their friendliness. My high school German has disappeared, but rowing is the universal language, so everything went well.
Heading for the end of winter and signs that you need to get fit for the summer racing season are around us – like daffodils coming out of the ground.
What is stopping you from joining us using the Faster Masters Rowing training plans for your sprint racing season?
Each month you get 6 complete lessons which will guide your forward path, starting with a choice of training programs. Each states clearly what it’s designed for. So if your big event is in May or June, it’s the 1k MayJune Peak or if it’s later in the year, there’s a separate plan for that.
The build up to your big event includes base training – ideal for those getting back on the water after intermittent winter training (or indoor ergs) which will re-familiarise you with bladework skills and help the ingrain the movement patterns of boat handling again.
Add to this land training for core strength and stabilisation and lessons on technique, the performance mindset and aging well lifestyle ideas.
Faster Masters Rowing programs are the complete package.
