Use our design to make your own unique rowing gift

Water and clouds with a bow of single scull

Hello there Reader

So many folks told us that they loved the design we made for the waterproof socks. Which gave us an idea, why not let everyone use it to make something for themselves?

There are lots of print-your-own services online offering clothing, -shirts, mugs and much more. I got custom Vans sneakers made.

Use the Faster Masters Rowing print as the basis for your own design. Download from the link below.

In case you missed it, the Erg Intensive kickoff zoom call is this weekend, open to all comers (try before you buy), details below. If you’ve never tried group rowing coaching online, we think you’ll enjoy this experience.

Considering the size of Macon oars compared to modern blades, would crews have been able to get a higher stroke rate with smaller Macons holding less water?

Guidance on adjusting training to align with your race dates

Hello again Reader
Across the world there are events at different times of year. When Marlene and I started this business we researched the major events for masters rowers in English-speaking countries. We designed the training programmes to cater for the majority using our standard training plans. Sometimes, these don’t exactly align with races you want to do.

I’m getting stronger in December

Hello again Reader
My training is back on track. It took a while after traveling to Head of the Charles to catch up on everything and then to return to the gym and in the boat (blisters – ugh).
Three weeks later, I’m on the water in an eight doing some speed work and WOW. Power. It’s there … when I ask for it, my body responds and delivers those tight puddles and a little bend on the oar shaft too.
So satisfying to get the payback after a short investment. I’m certain it’s the twice weekly…
